Script magazine was the essential anoraks accessory in the 1970's and issue number 6 really went to town with a glossy front cover!

  MV Norderney 1973.
Radio Veronica so dearly loved by the people of Holland for over 13 years shortly before a hurricane forced it's ship "Norderney" onto the beach at Scheveningen on April 3rd . Within days its programmes resumed from the Radio Caroline ship "Mi Amigo". Read how Script magazine broke the story in their LateNews extra of the 4th April 1973.

Warning. Some of the following graphic memorabilia is rather large, slow to load but the wait is worth it!. Enjoy your trip through the Archive and do not forget to check out "LateNews" above.

So you think your an Anorak and not got a copy?, then do yourself a favour and get one for the Millennium, its Bandit recommended. First published in 1984 by Pirate Publications and available from all quality outlets today. A word of caution, because of the easy going flowing style in which the author has written this book its very tempting to read from cover to cover in one session (albeit a rather long one!), so do not turn to the start of the first chapter on a Sunday evening if you intend to get up early the next morning to indulge in such mundane things as going to work.
Another book receiving a Bandit recommendation is Keith Skues "Pop goes the weasel" available from Lambs Meadow Publications and first published in 1994. This reference book contains a vast amount of information no discerning anorak should be without. It also proves that Keith Skues is without doubt the worlds first anorak before the word was even invented!.
